Ever since my toddler was around maybe 17 or 18 months, I thought it would be nice if she had one of those little blow up pools to play with outside. You see, she loved going to the swimming pool in the area where we lived. At times, I was so tired of hearing her asking me about going to the pool. Many times, when we could not go to the pool, I would fill up the bath tub, add a huge amount of soap bubbles and let her swim around in there (of course we me sitting there monitoring her).
Anyway, so I wanted to buy her a blow up pool but we lived in a town home and had no place to put it. So the first thing I thought of when we were only looking at the home we now own, was GREAT now I can get her one of those pools. My hubby said, “Well, where will you put it?” I said, “Right there!”
So this summer, I picked up a little $5 blow-up one at Target.
We tried it twice, but I find it was too small for her, let alone, the baby was in there, too. See how small she is in there (below).
So hubby and I decided to buy the plastic one instead. Found @ Walmart for $9 and cents. Ah, so much better!
No blowing up, just fill with nice warm water (for the kiddos), maybe throwing in a few water toys, and let them enjoy!
Here I am pretending we are going to a real pool. See my little picnic and pool basket with towels and other necessities. And they are also dressed in their bathing suites. We are just out the back door (LOL).
