Hi you all! I hope everyone is doing well. Let me begin by wishing everyone a Happy Valentines Day! And then to give you a little update on the new addition to our family.
I have been busy taking care of our three little ones. The baby is now 7 weeks old and is doing well. Of course, he gets up to nurse about 2 times during the night but goes back to sleep. I am so glad he is not staying up an hour or two after he nurses. Mama needs her sleep to take care of him and the other two little ones, too:)
Two weeks ago, he weighed 10 pounds 14 ounces. At birth he weighed 6 pounds 14 ounces. So within 5 weeks he had already almost doubled his birth weight. Looks to me like he gained almost a pound a week!
His sisters totally love him and are always checking on him. Even though I constantly have to remind them to stop jumping around the house when he is napping:)
Here he is hanging out with one of them: the eldest (4 years old) and my little helper! And yes, he is totally surrounded by all that pink and purple stuff that the girls own:)
We have been totally blessed by God to have him in our lives. And he is already well loved by others too. We received him as our greatest gift but he received many other gifts from others. In fact, I barely had to purchase any clothing for this little guy. He received loads and loads from others and there is still some on the way!!
Last Sunday, we had his pictures and our family photos taken. So I guess I need to change the photo on the blog and put an updated one. I hope to get back to blogging soon – just because I love it. Meanwhile, I have had someone design it for me (with header and other icons). I still have the same theme and the icons still need to be installed – just a different and better look. I figured it is better to have someone else do it since I am so busy. And I also have some drafted posts, but there is no rush here. Baby and family come first at all times.
So that is my little update! Here is to hoping you enjoy your Valentines and stay warm in this cold weather!

He is just so stinking adorable! He will love his sisters just as much as they love him so he won’t mind all the pink. I love the princess dress too, she is a cutie also!
You are missed, really looking forward to you coming back to the blogosphere. Your family posts and especially home schooling ideas for the little ones are valuable information.
