Valentine’s Day Popcorn and a Movie at Home
Popcorn and a movie is always a fun idea to celebrate a special occasion, a holiday, a cozy winter afternoon, a relaxing family weekend, or just when the “need” arises.
Our kids love popcorn! Well, what kid doesn’t? A popcorn party for kids doesn’t have to be complicated. All you need is some popcorn and maybe even some kind of fun drink. For a holiday or special occasion, choose serving bowls, cups, and items to match the occasion. For example, for Valentine’s, I chose these cute red, pink, & white popcorn bowls & cool straws. It can even be more special if you add a few different types of popcorn but it’s not necessary. Any small act of fun will bring smiles to little children’s faces. It really doesn’t have to be extravagant, although they wouldn’t mind that too.
Make it a Movie Night for Everyone
Pop some popcorn, serve with a drink such as lemonade, put on a show or movie for the kids to enjoy for a special Valentine’s treat. Make it a family event and enjoy it along with them too parents. It could be a movie evening or movie night for everyone.
Our kids really love it when we have movie with popcorn served. In fact, our little guy (at 5 years old) always asked, “What’s a movie night without popcorn?” So don’t miss the popcorn; it really could be such a fun, low key idea for your people on any occasion.
