1. Fun with play dough – Toddler
Here is the original recipe: I halved the recipe to make less play dough.
4 cups flour
1 cup warm water (a tablespoon or two more if needed)
2 TBSP canola oil
2 tbsp cream of tartar
1 cup – salt (1 -1/2 with no cream of tartar)
Divide dry ingredients equally among 2 to 4 bowls depending on the various food coloring used. Mix in the wet ingredients. Roll out and form dough. Have fun!
2. Tin can bowling game – Older toddler
3. Sensory Rice Play – Rice plus food coloring and a tad bit of water – Baby and Toddler
I only made 2 so far, but I will make 2 more as we are a family of 4. They are super easy to make.
5. Egg Cartoon Counting – Toddler (The title and opening photo says 4 activities but I added one more after I created the opening photo)
Use an empty egg cartoon; wipe clean; write in the numbers with a sharpie marker (1 to 12 or 1 to 18). Use rocks or small items for counting.
