Why I Didn’t Decorate Our Porch

Before Spring arrived, I wanted to make a Spring Wreath for our front door. I wanted to decorate our porch pretty pillows, a lovely pink Spring wreath and have everything on-hand once Spring came. When we moved to this house last Spring, due to lack of outdoor storage, our porch eventually became the place where all the kids outdoor toys were kept. It ended up looking to junky and I just didn’t like it. It didn’t get cleaned up until the Fall when the weather got cooler and we weren’t using the summer stuff as much. I added some seating and decorated it for Fall and I didn’t want it to go back to what it looked like during the Spring. That’s why I wanted to make it look inviting.

However, given our current situation around the world today, decorating the porch seemed rather un-important. I remains un-decorated and my planters I bought earlier are currently in our basement with zero plants in them. I din’t finish the Spring wreath until Spring came and once I did, I didn’t put it up until around Easter. I just wasn’t feeling it – no desire or urge to anymore. It’s not fully pink as I thought I would make as this one but I’m loving it so much more. It looks fuller and the hint of yellow is everything!

When it went up on our door it looked so pretty. I even received a few compliments from neighbours about it. I thought I would share it since the tutorial was already made. Want to make one for your front door? Grab your supplies and watch the video to see how easy it is to make.
