Make this Fluffy Slime Recipe for your little ones at home this summer. I know… it’s not every moms dream to have slime all around their house. But it’s so satisfying for the kids to play with. You can set some limits so they won’t get it all over the table and over the floor though. You’ll need to dedicate a little space and let the kids know what you expect from them as they play.
Fluffy Slime Recipe
What you need:
- One 4 oz Bottle of Elmer’s Glue
- 1 Cup Water
- 1/4 teaspoon Borax
- Shaving Cream
- Food Coloring (optional).
What to do:
Make a Glue Combination
- Empty glue in a bowl
- Mix in Food Coloring
- Add squirts of Shaving Cream (about 4 large ones)
- Set aside.
Make a Borax Combination
- In a second smaller bowl, add water and mix in Borax.
- Stir until combined as much as you can get it.
Finally
- Slowly pour Borax combination in the Glue combination while stirring with a spoon
- The slime will begin to form as soon as you combine both.
Take your hand and pick up the slime. Pick up as much as you can and put it in a separate bowl or plate. Empty what’s remaining from the mix in the bowl. The kids can now play with the slime.
To store
Store in a small covered container or jar.
