How to Dry Orange Slices for the Christmas Holidays

What you need:

  • 3 Oranges, sliced thinly
  • Ground Cinnamon

Line a baking tray (cookie sheet) with Parchment paper. Set aside. Cut oranges thinly. Lay out on tray about 1/2 inch apart. Sprinkle with Cinnamon. Bake 3 hrs at 300 degrees or 4-6 hrs at 200 degrees.

If you have no place to go for that day, you can start early enough to give the oranges time to dry. Check on it at the 1/2 time, if desired, to see how much they’ve already dried out. About the 2 hrs mark, I remove the oranges from the oven, flipped them over and allowed them to finish drying out.
