It’s no secret that cooking large meals takes planning. With the coming holidays and all the food that end up around the table it’s best to find a system that would help cut down on some stress plus save time in the kitchen. A menu planner along with a grocery list is a great way to help with both. I know that we live in the age of everything list on phones or some other electronical apps but every now and then, I love the easy convenience of good old fashion pen and paper. I do keep lists on my phone too but sometimes while we are out shopping, the kids may be enjoying a show on the phone which means that I cannot have my electronic list. That’s when my paper and pen come in handy – watch items on paper list, add things to cart, use pen to check off. All done.
Usually when I make a menu for bigger meals, I simply jot down what I will make (or mentally jot it down) and then make a list off that. I decided to create this clean and uncluttered holiday meal plan to help me keep things organized. It looks a little more professional (ha) and I even added a spots for everything included in a full-course meal. You too can use it to help you organize your menu and grocery list if needed.
It’s good for brunch or big breakfasts and dinner. Typically, we don’t do big breakfasts on Thanksgiving but you never know if some families do – just use it to your convenience. If you run out of space on one sheet, no worries. Print it twice or a few times and use as many as you’d like. It’s totally free and there are no strings attached.
