Make these easy Halloween cupcakes for a special treat for your kids this Halloween or to bring to a party!
My kids love cupcakes! Anyone else? Any opportunity we get to make or buy them we do (well I do to treat them). Although, the cake flavors are mainly vanilla, white or yellow, or lemon and the frosting, Cream Cheese or Vanilla. They haven’t branched out to anything else.
But these Halloween Cupcakes were a huge hit among the kids. I got to confess that I may have eaten 2 or 3 myself and I don’t usually get excited about cupcakes. LOL.
How to Make This Halloween Cupcakes
– A box of white cake mix plus the required ingredients on the package
-Black Food Coloring
-Black Sprinkles
Directions:
Bake the cupcakes according to package directions.
Frosting:
Use favorite frosting mix, buy one, or use mine (recipe following).
– 1/2 cup butter softened
– 1/4 cup Cream Cheese softened
1 Tablespoons milk
1 tsp Vanilla
Directions:
Combine butter & cream cheese together in a bowl. Mix until smooth. Add Vanilla. Mix. Add Powdered Sugar and 1 TBSP milk. Mix well until combined.
Divide frosting in two bowls – Add black food coloring to one bowl and mix to combine.
Frost cupcakes with white frosting. Make designs with white… (ghosts, spider webs, jack-o-lantern, etc) or just make black swirls or use sprinkles. Enjoy!
