Um, how did we get here? This is a question I didn’t think I would ask because 8th Grade seemed so far away. I figured by the time we got there, it will feel just right. But here I am and now I sound like all the other moms of past or present 8th-Graders. How did we get here? Yes, am aware I said that twice. We’ve now here at the place where we’ve come to the end of a Middle School Era. While it’s it’s somewhat surprising, it’s also beautiful.
Well, I Mean, the Kids got to Grow Up
So in leu of 8th Grade Graduation, thought I’d share some images of our 8th-er’s journey through school, from Kindergarten all the way up to Grade 8. My, my, time seems to be flying and que the tears as I write and think of my other two kids who are quickly coming up too. One is now in 3rd going into 4th and the other in 6th going into 7th, that’s close to 8. Now that I’ve gotten my sentiments out, let’s get to the photos:)
Let’s take a moment for this gorgeous dress from Dillards!

The support these kids had from family and friends
According to the principal, almost 450 students were graduating – This middle school is one of the largest in the area. It houses 7th and 8th Graders with the 6th Grade campus being separate.

Congratulations to our little (big) one!
Here she’s holding her 8th Grade diploma and Outstanding in Science award. She’s gotten awards throughout her Middle School years for top in Science, Silver Awards in her class in 8th Grade, Dedication in her work including Music, etc. So proud of our girl!
Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward (Psalm 127:3).
