Do you have a little boy (or girl) who seems to be fascinated with arachnids (fake ones that is)! Our little one seems to love all kind of animals from each group. We thought it would be fun to make a spider from a clothespin. To recreate this craft, you’ll need just a couple of items and follow a few easy steps. Although, I admit that this craft creeps me out a little. Our son decided he wanted brown legs so that’s what we added but they look a little too real. Does it to you? If your kids are fine with a craft like this, then it may be fun for them to make it.
Clothespin Spider
What you’ll need
- Clothespins
- Chenille Sticks
- Craft Eyes
- Hot Glue or Elmer’s glue (Hot Glue holds stronger and works faster)
What to do
- Glue eyes unto the clothes pin
- Cut out 8 pieces of Fuzzy Sticks to add the legs. Glue them on the underside of the spider.
- Let it dry.
Now it’s time for the kids to play with their creation! Have fun!
