How to Make Mini Christmas Tree Cinnamon Rolls

  • 1 Can Cinnamon Rolls
  • Green food coloring
  • Christmas Sprinkles, optional
  • Cookie Sheet
  • Parchment Paper

Directions:

  • Heat oven according to Cinnamon Roll package directions
  • Layer baking pan with parchment paper
  • Open Cinnamon rolls
  • Unroll one Cinnamon Roll. Shape it into an upside down “U”. Place it on the baking sheet.
  • Take one end and start shaping it into leaves, downward. Continue until there’s not enough dough to make another leaf on that one side.
  • Repeat steps on the other side
  • Take both ends and form a stem
  • Shape the rest of the rolls into small trees and place them on the baking pan
  • Bake Cinnamon Rolls according to the directions on the package
  • Remove from the oven and cool.

Frosting/Icing:

  • Add green food coloring to the frosting provided in the Can of Cinnamon Rolls
  • Drizzle over cooled Cinnamon Rolls or use a spoon to paste
  • Sprinkle with Christmas Sprinkles if desired.

Icing Drizzling Tip: To make it easy to drizzle frosting over rolls, place the frosting in a small Ziplock bag. Push the frosting to one end of the bag. Seal bag making sure to seal out as much air as possible. Cut a small slit at that end. Drizzle frosting over rolls.
