Do Blueberries and Yogurt go Together?
Absolutely! It’s one of the best blends. Yogurt makes blueberry smoothie creamier.
What Fruit Goes with Blueberries in a Smoothie
Bananas are my favorite fruit to add to a blueberry smoothie with yogurt.
Blueberry Smoothie Recipe
Recipe:
- 1 Cup Frozen Blueberries
- 1 Banana
- 1/2 Cup Yogurt (Vanilla or Plain)
- 3/4 – 1 Cup Milk
Directions: Place everything in a blender in order listed. Blend. Top with whipped cream, extra blueberries and sliced bananas, if desired. This recipe is so tasty! My children love when we make it.
Notes: You can use fresh blueberries instead of frozen. However, you will need to add 1 cup of ice to your smoothie to get a creamier consistency if you don’t use frozen. Keep in mind that you will also have crushed ice in your smoothie if you choose to not use frozen blueberries.
