Two of my kids and I were out shopping at Walmart one evening when we stumbled upon Disney’s The Lion King Roaring Simba Plush as we walked through an isle. It was so cute that my daughter picked it up in awe and said “look mommy!” As we kept on shopping, we discovered an entire range of Disney’s The Lion King select products at Walmart! Everything from toys to food, to apparel and decor! The excitement of seeing what’s in store was so real!

Disney’s The Lion King is in theaters July 19th and participating Walmart stores are hosting events to celebrate the upcoming film! Who’s excited for these events?! These family events will include crafts, exclusive toy demos, & fun surprises! My family is a big fan of The Lion King so we couldn’t help but jump in on the celebration of these events. We decided to bring home the adventures of Disney’s iconic animated film, Disney’s The Lion King with some of their select products to add to our Summer Fun!
We keep a list of both indoor and outdoor summer activities on our refrigerator. On our list is a Family Game Night since our little kids love it when we play games. I thought it would be fun to include a game of charades with the The Lion King Deluxe Figure Set to our game night! The set features 10 favorite characters from the movie: Simba, Nala, Rafiki, Timon, Pumbaa, Zazu, Young Simba, Young Nala, Mufasa, Scar, Vulture, and Hyena. Our kids couldn’t be more excited to play with them! 
Each figure features a fun dynamic action pose and excellent character detail. The uniqueness of each character makes it perfect for playing out scenes from the film which is why I made a game of charades out of it.

The kids had so much fun playing charades with the characters! All of them, including our youngest, did an awesome job imitating the characters! Disney’s The Lion King Deluxe Figure Set is perfect for kids 3+ and up and for those who like to collect! 
While at Walmart, we also picked up these jumbo plush friends to add to our kids play time! The Lion King Plush Simba and The Lion King Plush Nala are so cute and are made to look just like the characters from the film! They’re very soft and extra large making them perfect for snuggling and play time! 
Look at the joy on this little ones face as she holds her plush toys. She was super excited from the time we spotted them at Walmart and all through her play. The kids even keep a smaller size plush Nala and Pumbaa in their beds with them at night and love to take them on car rides and trips! 
Our kids immediately started to use their imagination to play “family” with all the characters. They love to use jumbo Simba and Nala as the parents and the smaller characters as the kids. They talk about what each character does and put on concerts for them. I overheard them giving instructions as “parents” to the “kids” and making them walk, run, and follow the instructions given by their “parents”. They’d say things like, “don’t go up that tree or you can get hurt” and things of that nature. It’s fun to watch how creative they get using these Disney’s The Lion King toys in their play! 
The range of Walmart exclusive Disney’s The Lion King products available is amazing! We also got some The Lion King food products because kids always need to snack after they play! Honey Nut Cheerios, Strawberry/Berry Go-Gurt, and some green grapes were on the food menu! The kids just sat around and ate after playing charades with The Lion King toys. Then back to some more play!

The Lion King Roaring Simba really roars! While we were out shopping at Walmart our kids pressed his paws to activate it and see what it does. Simba’s head and mouth move up and down as he roars. It too is soft, cuddly and made to look just like the character in the movie!
