Make your little one’s birthday special with these ideas. Our second daughter turned 12 in December. She’s our Christmas baby. For her 12th Birthday, she wanted to do ice-skating. Originally, it was Skateboarding but all the skate parks around here have been closed. So she chose Ice-Skating as the second option.
We rarely host birthdays full out, most of them are done at home. In fact, I think this is the first one we’ve done for her fully out. We’ve had family outings or events with just us depended on what the kids wanted to do around birthdays. However, when it came to the actual parties, most of them were hosted at the house but for a few.
Although most of our birthday parties are hosted at the house, we’ve sometimes had other party hosts come in to help us. These hosts include:

- Face Painter
- Bubble Soccer Host
- We’ve also rented things to help us such as Bounce Houses and a Bubble House
