I crochet my daughter’s hair for her 5th Grade graduation back in June. It turned out to be cute, she looked like a little princess at her graduation. Her dress complimented the look too!
I’m a novice hair crochet-er but wanted to try doing my girl’s hair. This is actually my second time doing her hair in crochet. I didn’t want to pay a bunch of money to have it done. Since I had practiced on her hair before, I figured I could do this for her special day.
This is the braids I used.
I first braded her natural hair in rounds like these.
Then I weaved the crochet in with a crochet needle.
I don’t think I do this in the most professional way but I did it.
We kept the crochet in until the last week before end of July (almost 2 months). It did felt like she had it for more than two months but it wasn’t. But we so many pool wand water days, we think it was time to remove it.
Pin It for Later
