Patriotic Chocolate Chip Cookies
These Patriotic Chocolate Chip Cookies are a hit and so fun to make for holidays!

I made these Chocolate Chip Cookies randomly for Memorial day and they turned out to be a big hit! They were chunky, delicious and just the correct texture. I used part of each dough to test out a couple cookies to add to a snack board. They were so good and my family enjoyed them so much that I decided to make the rest of them the following day! More raves!

Patriotic Chocolate Chip Cookies (Red White and Blue Flag Cookies)

The chocolate chip recipe I used is my personal recipe but the idea of baking it as on with the Sugar Cookies is something that was trending on Instagram for other holidays.

Make them – Use a chocolate chip recipe you already have or a pre-packaged one from the freezer isle.
How to Make Flag Cookies for Independence Day
You’ll need:
- Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
- 1 pk Pillsbury Patriotic Holiday Sugar Cookie
Directions:
- Scoop out chunks of cookie dough (about 2 tablespoons each).
- Roll them roughly, then flatten a bit.
- Place a Pillsbury cookie on-top of each one. Bake according to recommended times (I baked mine for 13-14 mins).
- Remove from oven to cool on pan.
- Cookies will finish baking while still on the hot pan.
These turned out to be so fun and very tasty!
