Citrus Pot – Great for Spring & Summertime

Thanks for Sharing!

Ah, the smell of this Citrus Simmer Pot in the kitchen Such a wonderful smell on a slow weekend day! I’ve only made Fall & Christmas simmer pots and loved seeing Spring ones here. So pretty with flowers. I thought I could try a citrus one for Spring and Summer & it turned out amazing!

You will need:

A skillet (big enough to fit the ingredients), I used a simmer pot (bought in the Fall for simmering like this during the Fall & holidays but haven’t used it since).

8 Cups water

1 orange, 1 lemon, 1 lime, a couple sprigs of Rosemary & a sprinkle of cloves.

Add water to pot. Wash, then slice all citrus. Add to pot. Add in the Rosemary Sprigs, then cloves.

Turn heat on medium to high.

Bring contents to a boil, then turn on low.

As the pot simmers, it will give off a wonderful aroma in your home. You do not have to cover the pot. I covered mine because it’s a simmer pot and has a little steam release hole.
