These easy Easter bunnies craft is suitable for small kids from around 3 – 6 years old. Have older kids? No worries – These were not only made by our 4 and 6 year olds but also by our 8 year old. So kids older than 6 could do them too, if they don’t mind.
Paper Plate Easter Bunnies
What you need
- Paper Plates
- Construction Paper
- Craft EyeCraft Eyes
- Pompom Bunny Tails (or large pompoms)
- Small pompoms
- Glue
- Tape (optional)
- Acrylic Paint
- Paint brushes
- Scissors
- Sharpie Pen
What to do
- Paint paper plates in colour of choice; allow to dry
- Draw bunny ears on construction paper (two small ears and two large ones for each bunny)
- Glue each small ear unto larger ones (to make the inside)
- Tape or glue ears to the back of the paper plate so it sticks out (next image). Tape works faster.
- Turn over plate and glue on eyes, and a small pom pom to make a nose.
- Using the Sharpie, draw on the mouth.
- Turn over the bunny and add a tail.
- Enjoy your new creation.
Steps to Making The Bunnies
Step 1. Paint paper plates in colour of choice; allow to dry
