Why Create a Holiday Baking Kit
Creating these Holiday Baking Kits brought me so much joy. It’s a fun way to gift the kid gather some baking items for the kids to use throughout the holidays. They’ll know just what to pull out from their bins when it’s time for baking. My idea started when I spotted some cool holiday spatulas and cookie cutters at Target for a $1.00, LOL. They weren’t in the Dollar Spot, but in the kitchen isle so I had to check and recheck to make sure the price was what I thought they were. And yes, they were $1.00

You could also include a cookie or cake mix just for the fun of it.
How to Create a Holiday Baking Kit for Kids
What You Need for each kid
- A Basket or Gallon-sized Tin-Can (any thing large enough for what you will add)
(Pick a few of these to fill their baskets)
- Kid-sized Spatulas
- Towels (holiday)
- Mittens (holiday)
- Christmas Cookie Cutters
- Holiday Sprinkles
- Kid-sized Rolling Pins
- Apron/Chefs Hat
Assemble each basket with baking items. Give them to the kids (maybe on a day when you plan to bake?) That way they won’t wait around “ancy” until baking day. Also, be sure to give them early enough during the month that way you can have enough days to bake.
Holiday Baking Kit Ideas
You could choose to create these by themes or no themes. For example, you could do a snow theme by including just snow related items, or Christmas, or Gingerbread, etc. or just include any kind of Christmas-y items, you can’t go wrong. Check out a few different ways to create them below. Just mix and match.
